For women case, the obesity and overweight happen mostly among non-Hispanic Black women. The percentage is 82 percent. It is compared with Hispanic women whose percentage is 76 percent. Moreover, non-Hispanic White women are about 64 percent. In contrary, for men, the highest case of obesity and overweight is among Hispanic men which are about 82 percent. It is compared with non-Hispanic White men 74 percent and non-Hispanic Black men 70 percent.
Children also have the tendency of being obesity and overweight. As they grow up, they are surely gaining weight. However, parents should understand whether the children have obesity or not. The number of obesity among school-aged children and teens has tripled in the past 30 years. Based on the research, 1 of 6 children around 2-19 years old are obese. In obesity case, when your body mass increases then the risk of coronary heart disease also increase. Coronary heart disease is a health problem where a substance usually called plaque block up inside the coronary arteries. These arteries’ function is for supplying blood with oxygen to your heart. Plaque can constricted the coronary arteries and reduce the flow of blood to the heart. This condition can cause heart attack which the patient will feel chest pain or discomfort. Obesity also can cause heart failure. This is very serious health problem because your heart can’t push enough blood for your body’s needs.
High Blood Pressure
Blood pressure is the power of the blood to push against the wall of arteries. It helps the heart to pump the blood. If this pressure increased and keeps high blood pressure, it can be dangerous in many ways. There are big chances of having high blood pressure when you are obesity or overweight.
If someone is obese or overweight, it is easy for them to have a buildup of plaque in their arteries. Gradually, the area of the plaque can burst, it cause the blood lump to shape. If the lump is near to your brain, it can block the way of the oxygen and blood to your brain. Then it will cause a stroke.

Diabetes is a disease where the level of blood glucose or blood sugar in the body is too high. Usually, the body divides the food into glucose and brings along it to cell all through the body. The cells use insulin as a hormone to change the glucose become energy. In type 2 diabetes, the body’s cell doesn’t employ the insulin well. First, the body’s reaction is to make more insulin. After some times, then the body can’t make enough insulin for controlling the blood sugar. Diabetes is a serious health problem since it can cause early death, stroke, blindness, and kidney disease. Most people who have type 2 diabetes are obese.
Abnormal Blood Fats
Being obesity or overweight can lead for having abnormal blood fats. These conditions are including the high level of bad cholesterol and low level of good cholesterol. This abnormality of blood fats can increase the risk of coronary heart disease.
Metabolic syndrome is the name for a cluster of risk factor which can lead to heart disease, diabetes, stroke and other health problems. The development of these risks can be shown by itself, but normally they occur together. A diagnosis of this metabolic system can happen if there are minimal three of these risk factors. First, the risk factor is a large waistline. This is also called having an apple shape or abdominal obesity. It happens when there are many fats around the waist area.
